TIMELINE PREP/CLASSWORK

Hello guys. Here are the specifics of what I'd like you to do for the timeline.

1) Create something that is creative and original with visuals - posters, images of history, etc.

2) Add things that happening during horror films - 9/11, the atomic bomb, WW1/WW2, the threat of war, aids/HIV epidemic, role of women, etc. Social/historical information.

3) I'd like you to add relevant theories of horror too! Final Girl (when it came out and who it was by) and Male Gaze (when it came out and who it was by). I'd also like you to find your own theories too!

3) I would like you to add the following films on your timeline as this is what we are watching/will watch in class and also pinpoint when the first horror films came out.

4) Please can you add only relevant events in reference to these films - not just random stuff! Information on the commercial success of these films is great too!
